Education/Background: Born and raised in the Valley, Scarlett has been passionate about hair and beauty from a young age. She continues to dedicate her time and education to improving her skills and enhancing the beauty world. Graduating with a Cosmetology license in 2023, she brings a fresh outlook that she hopes to share, making people feel beautiful every day.

Strengths/Specialties: Scarlett specializes in blowouts and styles. Keeping up with the latest trends in curls and techniques, she ensures your hair gets the perfect finishing touch. She loves working with all hair types and creating stunning color and style transformations.

Hobbies: Outside the salon, Scarlett enjoys doing makeup on herself and others for events, shoots, or just for fun. She also loves talking about movies, music, and almost anything pop culture.

Fun Facts: While born and raised in California, Scarlett spent 8 months in Austin, TX, learning new techniques and gaining further knowledge about working with all hair types.

Education/Background: Katie is a true academic prodigy, having graduated from high school at just 15. She is currently pursuing a degree in marketing and already holds impressive degrees in Economics and Business.

Strengths/Specialties: With many years of customer service under her belt, Katie excels at anticipating and fulfilling guests’ needs. Her passion for her role at Salon Nuuvo shines through as she helps guests transform into their best, brightest selves.

Hobbies: Katie is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking in Malibu and spending time at the beach. She has a passion for music and has taught herself to play the piano and violin, making the most of her spare time with these creative pursuits.

Eden W. – Jr. Stylist

Education/Background: Born in Aiken, South Carolina, I graduated from Wagener-Salley High School with a Cosmetology Certificate. I later moved to Santa Cruz, California, where I earned my associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. Eventually, I relocated to Los Angeles and renewed my cosmetology license at Santa Monica College. My greatest achievements are my two wonderful boys.

Strengths/Specialties: I excel in connecting with people and have an insatiable eagerness to learn. I love exploring different techniques and ideas, incorporating them into my skill set. I also enjoy doing color and styles on all hair types. One of the joys of being a hairstylist is meeting people from all walks of life and making them feel beautiful.

Hobbies: I enjoy cooking, watching reality TV, swimming, and going to the beach. My latest passion is hiking new trails around LA.

Fun Facts: My first car in LA was sold to a movie production company, spray-painted black, and blown up in a Fast and Furious movie!

Education/Background: Toni has always had a deep love for art, making it an integral part of her career and lifestyle. She graduated from Paul Mitchell The School and is currently continuing her education at Nuuvo University. Toni is a licensed cosmetologist.

Strengths/Specialties: Toni is very passionate about color, cut, and style. She enjoys connecting with her clients and loves creating inspired new looks, helping them feel beautiful and confident.
Hobbies: Nature holds a special place in Toni’s heart. She loves snowboarding, traveling, and singing. In her spare time, she travels to the mountains, no matter the season. She also loves to paint and write.

Additionally, Nevia harbors an ambition of becoming a famous singer-songwriter. She dedicates time to nurturing her musical talents, writing heartfelt lyrics and composing soulful melodies that reflect her innermost thoughts and emotions.

Education/Background:
Heidi was born and raised in Newbury Park. Being passionate and interested in the world of beauty, Heidi attended Simi Valley Cosmetology School where she graduated and obtained her Cosmetology license 2013.

Heidi specializes in blondes, offering expert hair coloring services tailored to perfection. Her passion extends to crafting impeccable haircuts for both men and women, from basic trims to complete transformations. Heidi is also highly skilled in the art of extensions, seamlessly blending them for a natural look. She excels in finishing touches, particularly with her polished blowdry technique, ensuring her guests leave her chair looking and feeling absolutely fabulous.

Hobbies:
Heidi enjoys being with and playing with her beloved dog, Dash, as well as traveling, especially to San Diego, Las Vegas, and anywhere near a beach.

Fun facts: Heidi has known she wanted to be a hairdresser since she was 8 years old!

Michelle Taylor, Junior Stylist

Education/Background:
Michelle studied cosmetology at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and received her license in 2020 Immediately following, she attended International Salon and Spa Academy where she focused on barbering.  While in school, Michelle especially enjoyed learning creative cutting techniques and continues to develop her cutting skills.

Strengths/Specialties:
Michelle has great attention to detail and loves to create looks that result in a satisfied client.  She is eager to learn and enjoys the education that Salon Nuuvo provides. Michelle is excellent at building relationships with each and every Salon Nuuvo client and thrives on creating looks that put smiles on faces.

Hobbies:
Michelle has been skiing and snowboarding since she was just 3 years old!  She is athletic and has participated in many sports.  She enjoys fashion, music, and great food!

Fun Facts:
Since Michelle is new to California, she enjoys exploring the many sights of The Golden State.  She enjoys the beach, hiking, and taking in the sunshine.

Anna Elkin, Junior Stylist

Education/Background:
Anna is currently attending Paul Mitchell Sherman Oaks. Ever since she was a kid she has been creative and dyed her hair crazy colors. Anna would often experiment on her own hair as well as my friends. She quickly learned it was her passion and began to pursue it as a career.

Strengths/Specialties:
Anna’s strengths are in fashion colors and blonding. She loves the chemistry behind it and having to really think about the color wheel in hair.

Hobbies:
Anna loves to draw and paint. Anything crafty or working with her hands has always been her strong suit. She picks up hobbies pretty quickly, and is always testing the next creative thing she can find.

Fun Facts:
Anna speaks fluent Russian!
