Raychel Harrison – Founder / Artistic Director

Raychel Harrison is a professional, conscientious, award-winning entrepreneur. Raychel’s focus as a salon owner is to enhance and support the beauty industry, creating more credibility for hairstylists and beauty professionals.

Her love affair with all things HAIR began from her teenage years, and has carried her through an extensive and exhilarating journey. Raychel traveled the country as a National Platform Artist providing advanced education to hairdressers. Under her mentorship and training with industry icon Robert Cromeans (Global Artistic Director for John Paul Mitchell Systems), Stephanie Kocielski, Kelly Cardenas, Angus Mitchell and D.J Muldoon. Raychel continued her journey of education at The Vidal Sassoon Academy, learning to cut hair the Sassoon way. After 20 year of Professional hairdressing, Raychel’s star continues to burn bright in the industry.

Raychel passed one of the most rigorous examinations of hair color proficiency in the industry, to earn her certification as an American Board Certified Hair Colorist.

Armed with expert coloring and haircutting knowledge, Raychel became certified in cold fusion hair extensions in 2001, and is known today for her unique ability to transform client’s hair with an effortless look, appealing to their lifestyles.

Raychel was honored as ‘The San Fernando Valley Business Review Journal’s ‘Rising Star’ winner, in the Annual Women in Business Awards (2012.)

Audley Harrison – Cofounder / COO

Audley is an accomplished sporting executive, with a stellar background of achievements in Boxing Promotions, Event Production and Marketing. Having won Great Britain’s first boxing medal in thirty-two years at the 2000 Olympic games.

Audley used his university degree and street smarts to maximum effect, launching his own promotional company and becoming the 1st UK boxer to sign a live broadcasting deal in the UK. Audley embarked on a successful professional boxing career that included a WBF title, European title, and a challenge for the Heavyweight Championship of the World.

Utilizing his business acumen and accomplishments in the boardroom while active as a promoter and boxer, Audley has provided valuable support to Raychel as she continues to blaze a trail in the hair industry.


Jen M. – Salon Manager

Education/Background: Jen has been in the industry since the age of 16 working at the front desk in salons. After college, she continued into Salon Management. Growing up in Minnesota, she decided she wasn’t made for the winters so she found her home in Salon Nuuvo!

Strengths and Specialties: Jen’s strength is that she can talk and listen to anyone, and is a people person and can always make someone laugh!

Fun Facts: Jen is one of the 2% of the population whose a left handed female. She’s never broken any bones or had any stitches, and wants to visit all 50 states ( she’s about halfway there!)

Hobbies: She loves anything active and outdoors, especially in the summer! She enjoys working out, hiking, baking, shopping and traveling.

Favorite Product: “My favorite is the 3 in 1 hairspray because of its versatility; I can use it in my hair with any style I wear because you can adjust the hold you want to see from it.”

Jessie H. – Senior Stylist

Education/Background:Jessie went to the Westmore Academy of makeup and received an AA in psychology, and graduated with honors from Paul Mitchell School in Sherman Oaks. She worked for 3 years on television sets, photo shoots, and film sets doing hair and makeup. She has 3 years of art classes and focused on studying color theory.

Strengths/Specialties:Jessie specializes in makeup, color, custom coloring, customized foundation, red heads and dimensional color.

Fun Facts:Jessie is a Disney fanatic! She loves dogs, especially her Bichonpoo, Bear. She loves spending time with her family, which is one of the most important things to her.

Hobbies:Jessie enjoys painting and coloring as well as doing collages on different mediums. She also loves shopping for unusual clothes and shoes.

Favorite Product: “I love the dry shampoo because it makes my hairstyle last longer and helps with the longevity of my color since red is the hardest color to keep from fading!”

Melanie. M –  Senior Stylist

Education/Background: Melanie attended Newbury School of Beauty in 2000. After that was the assistant to Amy Edwards (Allen Edwards daughter) and Tony Reidon. She has attended workshops with Jonathan Antin, Ana Karks, Allen Ruiz and Lupe Voss. Melanie completed and became a certified color trainer in 2011. She also has worked on films and in-studio.

Strengths/Specialties: Melanie loves color, highlights, and fashion forward haircuts, to bring out the best in someone’s personal look. Ensuring each guest gets that extra boost of confidence after his or her experience.

Hobbies: She loves fashion, photography, art and traveling.

Fun Facts: She enjoys doing her own color sometimes! She originally went to nursing school, as she always wanted to help others.

Favorite Product: Melanie’s favorite product is the Nuuvo Texture Taffy! It’s great for those flyaways and awesome for giving you that ruffled look.

Julie E. – Stylist

Education/Background:Julie attended the Simi Valley school of cosmetology, and advanced her training with the Nuuvo Academy. She has taken balayage classes and color knowledge classes.

Strengths/Specialties: Julie loves blowdry’s, braids, and updo’s and balayage colors!

Fun Facts: She has three sisters and loves animals! She looks nothing like anyone else in her immediate family.

Hobbies: Julie loves to go hiking camping, traveling and tumbling.

Favorite Product:“My favorite product is the dry shampoo, because it’s not too heavy and not too light, it works just right!”

Beatriz F. – Stylist

Education/Background: Beatriz attended Marinello School of Beauty and became licensed in 2010. Since then she has been assisting in the salon alongside owner Raychel, and our master stylist Genevieve.

Strengths/Specialties: Beatriz specializes in doing makeup and blow dry’s and style’s.

Hobbies: She likes to horseback ride in free time and spend time at the ranch with hoses and farm animals, as well as attending rodeo’s.

Fun Facts: She’s double jointed and used to do pageants when she was younger and loves to travel!

Favorite Product: “My favorite product is the Argan Oil because it’s good for all types of hair from curly to straight to frizz or course, fine or thick hair.”

Chelsea M. – Assistant

Education/Background: Chelsea went to Granada Hills Charter High School and Eliete Cosmetology school where she specialized in color classes. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley.

Strengths/Specialties: She loves product knowledge, color, and is a future extension guru!

Fun Facts: She is a licensed scuba diver!

Hobbies: Chelsea loves to read books and magazines and going to take her puppies to the beach!

Favorite Product: “I love the Va Va Voom Spray because it provides the perfect texture!”

Erin P. – Front Desk Concierge

Education/Background: In 2010 Erin attended the Academy For Salon Professionals, and completed the Esthetics and Makeup course. In 2013 Erin passed the State Board of esthetics exam and became a Licensed esthetician, and in addition she is certified in depilation, microdermabrasion, lactic and glycolic peels.

Strengths/Specialties: Excellent customer service skills, Friendly, very Funny, and creative.

Hobbies: Photography, Horror Movies, Traveling, Oil and Acrylic painting, Cooking, and anything involving nature.

Fun Facts: Erin loves to collect and wear antique jewelry, she started collecting when she was very young with the help of her grandmother, who has also been collecting and making beautiful pieces from antique jewelry scraps her entire life.

Favorite Product: “The mega moisture argan mask is literally a hair saver! It brings my hair back to life immediately after coloring or bleaching it! IT’S AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!”
